2018 Indy Cross Series

Indy Cross is a local cyclocross series offering five race weekends here in Central indiana. This series is designed as a fun, grassroots series catering to all types of racers. Beginners who may be considering racing cross but do not own a cyclocross specific bike are always welcome to use mountain bikes and should find this a perfect race/venue to find mentors or just try out a race in smaller, informal setting.

All categories require a USA Cycling Racing License. Annuall licenses can be purchased at USA Cycling. One Day Racing Licenses ($10) for Category 5 racers are available at each event for $10.

Teams are welcome to set up team tents.

Starting Order/Call-ups

  •  All categories scheduled to start at the same time will go off in one wave, with individual categories intermixed.  First to be staged on the line are those that pre-register at least 2 weeks out from event date, and they will be staged by their USA Cycling Cyclocross ranking.  Next staged will be everyone that pre-registers from 2 weeks out til the close of pre-registration – and they also will be staged by their USA Cycling Cyclocross ranking.  Those that register on race day will line up at the back.  This system will work for all combined categories going off the starting line at the same time.  Each category listed will get scored separately and get a podium celebration each day as well as Indy Cross series points for their category.
  • Call-ups are awarded to pre-registered riders only. Riders with licenses listed as PENDING or ONE-DAY in the TrueSport profile shall not receive a call-up. PLEASE DO NOT PROCRASTINATE TO RENEW YOUR USA CYCLING LICENSE!!!
